Why Mark Nordlicht Supports Sharsheret
Mark Nordlicht makes regular donations to Sharsheret because they are a national not-for-profit organization that supports women and their families, of all Jewish backgrounds, facing breast cancer. Sharsheret was founded in 2001 by Rochelle Shoretz after her own diagnosis at the age of 28. Since the organization was founded, they have responded to more than 23,000 breast cancer and ovarian cancer inquiries, presented over 250 educational programs and have involved over 1400 peer supporters.
Sharsheret focuses on helping those who are concerned about their family’s risk of breast cancer, those who have been diagnosed and are receiving treatment, and those who face issues of recurrence or survivorship. Sharsheret offers several support programs and services that are open to both women and men.
